Tecnosoft
receives Minority Business Enterprise/Disadvantaged Business Enterprise(
MBE/DBE) certification from the State of Maryland Department of Transportation

Tecnosoft, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has received certification
as a Minority Business Enterprise/Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (MBE/DBE)
from the State of Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT). This
certification qualifies Tecnosoft to subcontract or partner with prime
contractors seeking minority firms to perform work on projects let by
the Departments/Agencies of the State of Maryland. The areas covered by
the certification include:

· Prepackaged Software
· Computer Integrated Systems design
· Computer Consulting
· Management Consulting
· Staff Augmentation.
Tecnosoft completed a very comprehensive certification process, with many
specific eligibility criteria. The process included a thorough review of our
operations, with technical knowledge of our major areas of work as an important
component of the assessment. We successfully presented our business to the
MBE Advisory Committee (MBEAC) and responded to questions asked by the committee
members and skilled information technology personnel.
TECNOSOFT
PROVIDES THE STATE OF MARYLAND, DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES WITH WEB SUPPORT
October 9, 2001, Silver Spring, MD.
The Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Web site supports
applications for hunting and fishing licenses, boat registration, and
provides a variety of information on Maryland parks and recreational
facilities. The DNR uses the Talisma ECRM Suite to manage customer
service for its Web site, including a Web form to collect customer
satisfaction information. Taking advantage of Talisma’s features and
capabilities for rapid deployment, the site was fully operational in
less than two weeks. Tecnosoft is now working the DNR to upgrade its
software to the latest version of Talisma, and to implement the new
functionality it provides. Tecnosoft also performs other Web-related
support functions for the Department. For example, under a contract
with the DNR, Tecnosoft recently modified a large volume of MS Word,
PowerPoint and Web page content developed by the Governor’s Office to CD
format, to serve as educational material and as a training course on managed
economic growth; we also converted the content into CDs for distribution
to educators across the State.
TECNOSOFT SIGNS SECOND
ECRM PARTNER AGREEMENT

TECNOSOFT's eCRM solution offerings have been significantly enhanced
with the signing of its second software partner. The new agreement
is with InfoZen, Inc. based in Germantown, MD. InfoZen's core
software product, called ASAPware, is an open and scalable Internet
portal software infrastructure based on a UNIX/Oracle platform.
ASAPware includes an extensive compilation of nearly 50 plug-and-play
modules to address a broad range of e-business solutions for commerce,
community and content services. The agreement with InfoZen leverages
TECNOSOFT's IT consulting and project management resources, and
further enhances their e-business solution offerings.
TECNOSOFT SIGNS ECRM PARTNER
AGREEMENT

TECNOSOFT signed its first Partner Agreement in support its new
eCRM line of business. The agreement with Talisma Corporation,
a leading vendor of eCRM (electronic customer relationship management)
application software, marks a major milestone for TECNOSOFT. The
Talisma products address marketing, sales and customer service
operations, providing a central repository for all customer interactions,
regardless of the media used (phone, fax, e-mail, Web form, etc.).
Talisma's industry-leading software enhances and complements existing
TECNOSOFT's capabilities in IT consulting and project management.
TECNOSOFT is now able to serve as a one-stop shop, offering complete
eCRM solutions to its clients.
ARNOLD HUFF JOINS TECNOSOFT
AS DIRECTOR OF SALES

TECNOSOFT, INC. is pleased to announce that Arnold Huff has joined
the company as Director of Sales. In this role, Mr. Huff is responsible
for sales, marketing and account management for the company's
IT staff augmentation, system integration and eCRM solution services.
Bringing more than 20 years of experience in the IT consulting
and services industry, Mr. Huff has developed a client-focused
sales methodology committed to constructing business solutions
that address client expectations and maximize their return on
technology investments. He previously has held senior sales management
positions with several major IT services providers, where he applied
his expertise in the areas of e-business, enterprise services
and systems integration for customers in various industry sectors.
Mr. Huff attended Lincoln Memorial University, majoring in Psychology
and Business Administration.
JEFFREY GERSON JOINS TECNOSOFT
AS DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
TECNOSOFT, INC. is pleased to announce that Jeffrey Gerson has
joined the company as Director of Business Development. Mr. Gerson
will provide strategic technical and business direction for Tecnosoft.
He has more than 25 years of IT experience, including 10 years
as a senior technical and sales program manager at Compaq/Digital
Equipment Corp., and successful business development positions
with major e-business service companies. With expertise in all
phases of IT solution sales, implementation and support, he brings
vision backed by a wealth of practical knowledge. He has a B.S.
in Marketing Research and an MBA in Management Science, both from
the University of Maryland.
TECNOSOFT SUPPORTS DEVELOPMENT OF E-COMMERCE
TRADING SYSTEM
TECNOSOFT has been selected to assist a major financial services
firm in developing on-line interactive applications and telephony-based
brokerage services for its clients. The new e-commerce trading
system will consist of a transaction-web server, quote server,
report server and voice recognition system. TECNOSOFT will support
the design and development of virtually all system components.
One key to the selection of TECNOSOFT was its technical expertise
in C, C++, Java/JavaScripts, Unix scripts, HTML, TCP/IP socket
programming, and multi-threading with the Sybase DBMS. TECNOSOFT's
knowledge of financial services applications was also a major
consideration for the client.
TECNOSOFT HELPS VERTICAL INDUSTRY SOLUTION
PROVIDER DEVELOP STATE-OF-THE-ART CONTACT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Tecnosoft will provide a wide range of software engineering services
to assist in the design, development and support of an enhanced
suite of software products for this IT software solutions vendor
serving the public safety agency industry. Tecnosoft's responsibilities
will include: identifying customer requirements; application prototyping,
testing and performance tuning; configuration management; and
customer technical support.
TECNOSOFT SELECTED AGAIN TO SUPPORT CENSUS
2000
EDS, the prime contractor for Data Collection System project
for the 2000 Census, selected TECNOSOFT as a key subcontractor.
The 2000 Census includes 5 regional offices and many local offices
to support data compilation and project/resource management. TECNOSOFT's
role is to support design and implementation of the data/network
infrastructure needed to connect Census 2000 facilities, and provide
coordinated communication between them.
TECNOSOFT SUPPORTS CENSUS 2000
Lockheed-Martin, the prime contractor for Data Capture System
project for the 2000 Census (DCS2000), selected TECNOSOFT as a
key subcontractor. The DCS uses automatic character recognition
technology to convert information printed by hand and check marks
into digital format. For the DCS2000 project, 132 million census
forms consisting of more than 1.5 billion pages had to be processed
in just 100 days. TECNOSOFT's role is to conduct detailed
analysis and design of the database system for the project.
