Analyze
and Plan
This initial phase is directed to identifying strategic goals and objectives
for the project, and developing a preliminary plan for achieving those
goals.
Key to any successful systems development effort is a comprehensive understanding
of customer needs and expectations. TECNOSOFT professionals
are skilled in eliciting and analyzing these items with customers.
Once the initial needs and expectations have been defined, functional
requirements are developed. Business and technical needs are identified
and analyzed as a basis for solution design and development requirements.
TECNOSOFT professionals will analyze and allocate
requirements to a preliminary system operational concept. The system operational
concept addresses how the system will be used - - how applications will
be executed by operational personnel to accomplish the business functions
and to meet the business goals of the system.
As part of the detailed analysis, the system architecture and operational
infrastructure needs will be assessed. For each of these analyses, alternative
scenarios are identified, assessment criteria defined and applied, and
recommendations are developed and documented. The project team will review
the alternative solutions with the client and agreed upon the most suitable
and cost effective solution.
These derived and agreed upon requirements will be used to create a preliminary
plan for the project. The plan will be modified and enhanced throughout
the project, as needed.
